The crowd was diverse. The mood was cheerful. Lots of dogs, babies, and grannies. Bicycle cops lounging at the perimeter.

The police had nothing to do. The crowd was happy and peaceful.
Not at the march, but I saw this guy in the metro on Friday, and gave him some money for his mission.
