Trump supporters are said to like him because he “tells it like it is”, and “says things people think but don’t say”, and of course because he is not “politically correct.” If you define yourself as politically incorrect, what is actually happening to you beyond people speaking up and calling you out on it? Are there laws about thought and attitude being passed?

You have the right to say it. I have the right to disapprove loudly.
In a country with freedom of speech, you are totally free to be politically incorrect. There are no laws to censor you or educate you. You won’t be arrested. (You are allowed to be stupid too.)
If a website doesn’t like your comments (as is their right), you can set up your own website or blog to express those thoughts… unless or until you begin instigating violence or hatred against a group, in which case most, if not all, thinking people will agree you should stop. After all, to use the most common and clichéd argument, one is not allowed to yell “Fire” in a crowded theater without being held responsible for the stampede that may follow.

What people do not like is saying hateful or bigoted things and BEING CALLED OUT ON THEM. There is a faction that seems to equate free speech with freedom from being criticized. Nobody is stopping YOU from saying Merry Christmas. You cannot force people to wish it back to you. If society no longer defaults to the status quo, and instead falls on a common middle ground, so what? You’re not a special snowflake anymore?
You can say racist, homophobic or misogynist things all day long, but don’t be surprised when people call you a racist, homophobe, or misogynist. Being offensive is your right, having people like you, agree with you, or approve of you is not.

Quite frankly, I think political correctness is the worst form of censorship. You’re not allowed to speak your mind unless you’re black, or unless you’re a terrorist, or unless you’re an Arab or a minority people. Then you can say what you like. But if you are like a lot of us you are not supposed to say certain things. facebook tracks every word you say. Delete all you want. It’s still there. They seem to be fighting a war by becoming the thing they hate the worst. Hate can only be defeated by something it will never understand. Love. Love conquers a multitude of sins and a soft word turns away anger. A bullet to the head cures all the ailings of the human condition..
