North Bay has religion

My host took me around North Bay, Ontario.  A lot of churches for a small town. Here are a few.

I have never seen a storefront like this in Montréal.

The store was closed the day we passed by.

This building has been re-purposed.  My host told me that the current high school has the highest rate of teen pregnancy in Canada.

  1. Yeah, the Separate School Board of Ontario may want to look a little harder at the birth control unit of the sexual health course. The unit really only discusses abstinence as a birth control method, well, until marriage. As evidenced in the North Bay high school with the highest rate of teen pregnancy. Did your host also tell you of the Separate Board policy on teen pregnancy and continuing high school within the catholic system? It’s called, ‘You show…..You go’……… How progressive is that?
